The Power of Jewellery

Jewellery has the power to evoke so many feelings. We have pieces given to us by grandparents for our birthdays, pieces we may have inherited from great aunts, a necklace for our 18th maybe, and special gifts from lovers at valentines, holiday mementoes even. These pieces may be valuable in a monetary way, but what ever they cost, they will all evoke wonderful (we hope!) memories, taking us back in time, reminding us of who gave them to us, where we were, and why we loved them from the start. Among my favourite pieces are a silver broch set with moonstones given to me by my Granny, and a gold necklace set with turquoise that my mother gave me on a flight to India just 2 years ago. I will never get bored of collecting Jewellery and hope you don’t either!
